El Cerro Grande in Myrtle Beach

This is the best Mexican restaurant we have eaten at in Myrtle Beach. We will definitely eat here our next trip to the beach.

No service and Management done nothing. Will not return.

staff is always polite food is always hot and delicious. Salsa is always on point!

We sat at a visibly wobbly table...i ordered chicken and rice for the children..we got shrimp and rice..even checked the menu ..yes it said chicken..two adult orders..we didn't say anything...the food was ok..it would have been nice to have had 4 small plates for my kids to put salsa and chips on..but wasn't a horrible time..but not hardly any customers at 3pm...yet I felt really rushed to hurry up and order.....but waiter was nice 👌

We ate here 7/30/20. The service and food was off the chain fabulous. What a difference a kitchen can make. We live in NMB and our location doesn’t hold a fork to this one. Thank you to the management and team at the 544 El Cerro.

My family and I went here tonight for an early dinner. The service was fantastic, the server remember everything we requested. The margaritas were crazy cheap and they made sure everyone was very well separated during this crazy time. Highly recommended!Thank you so much!

One of the best Mexican restaurants that we've been to outside of Arizona and Mexico itself. Generous, and I mean generous, portions. Friendly staff. Great old world atmosphere, which is part of the culinary experience. Def recommend.

Service was a little slow and they weren't busy. My husband is from California and says this is more American than Mexican. Pricey for what you get.

I have only one problem. They charged another tables dinner on my debit card. It has been 5 days and I have not received the credit yet. It took 2 minutes to take it out of my account, it should not take a week for them to put it back in.

I live in the area and the Surfside El Cerro is our go out to eat place! This El Cerro is by far THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD I have ever tasted. I have eaten at this location often and never had one bad experience. The food and the service is as good as it gets! You will find several El Cerro locations across the Grand Strand. I have eaten at both the Georgetown SC and the Murrells Inlet locations many times and love the food but the Surfside location has always been just a small bit better and we do travel to this location for our night out. The building itself, layout seating and bar area is the best at this Surfside location as well, This location is simply a beautiful place to eat. You can'y go wrong with any El Cerro around the beach, simply the best, consistent place I have found and the price is right for what you get. Im headed back tonight, its that good!

Sometimes I really want comfort food, and that would be these chicken Fajita Nachos at El Cerro. Highly recommend this place. Even the chicken wings are great... but I always get these nachos because they’re delish and I’m a creature of habit. Yum.

Even the water tasted clean/fresh and delicious!! Had the chimichangas and a virgin guava daquiri - yummy they were so good. Recommend it 100% 😉

Love this place in Myrtle Beach! Our server was amazing! He is in the picture with me. The band rocked all different types of music. Food was great!

Awesome place. Margaritas could be a little bit stronger but the taste really good.

Experience overall was good. Staff was very friendly. We visited during the pandemic and I can appreciate that they are taking care to sanitize and spread people out. The food was a little bland, but about what you'd expect from a tourist hot spot. Prices are also little above what I'd pay back home for similar fare. However my primary criticism is that for $15 for the Choripollo dinner I'd expect the chicken to not be overcooked.

First time ordering take out ...what a mess ! Ordered taco salads with no guacamole, received a shell with ground beef and melted cheese !! Nothing else :(. 2nd trip to rectify situation, came home with lettuce some tomatoes and a scoop of sour cream. (For 2 salads ). Try calling this establishment and the phone message says that the voicemail hasn’t been set up..Very disappointing to say the least. Not exactly what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. Should have gone to Taco Bell First and last for these locals !

Tacos were soooooo good!! Drinks were good and they had so many flavors. You cant beat $5 margaritas! Service was also great!

First off I loved the decor when you walk in, very clean and friendly staff. The chips and salsa were delicious. So delicious that I ate way too much and could barely eat my main course. I got the fajita nachos! It was sooooo good, the steak was tender Nd the onions and peppers were fully cooked. Can't wait to eat my leftovers for lunch tomorrow!

I'd give this place a 4.5 if I could since it's tough to get a 5 from me. Dinner for 2 runs me about $35-$40 and the food is very good. The hostess' I saw weren't very attentive nor respectful on one of my visits. If you'd like a laugh, birthday singing is sometimes paired with whip cream to the face (might have to request it).

The service was fantastic, quickly got our drink order in and then the food order. Food delivery was fast and HOT just as expected! The queso dip is awesome, many TV's with different shows on for entertainment. And they have mezcal tequila shots that are fantastic! :D

I would have gave 5 stars. The food was Great.,.. the drinks and the bartinder was awesome. Best margarita ever!!!! The only problem was the host. She was rude.... She put other people in front of us. and took our name off the list because we ask to sit at the bar and wait for our table. I also overheard other people complain about her being rude. Other than that , I Love the place.

Loved this place! This replaces Garcia's for us where we always ate the first night here. Excellent food and service. We'll be back for sure

Staff was very friendly and helpful...they really appreciate you being there which always feels nice.....food was excellent and quick to the table...I'll recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic..clean....and very reasonably priced Mexican restaurant.....hats off to the entire staff there and keep up the good work......5 star rating 💫💫💫💫💫

Great values and large portions. A single serving of fajitas will easily satisfy two if you get extra shells. Margaritas start at $3.00!

Really enjoyed our visit. Good food, beer and our server was a really good and nice guy. Hostess not so much but you can't have it all.

Authentic Mexican food with fast service and very clean restaurant

Love the free salsa and chips! Burrito combo was good. The pulled chicken was a bit tough and chewy. The ground beef was good..my friend said hers was too salty. The cheese dip is scrumptious. My friend had a bite of the refried beans that had a crusty burnt thing in it that tasted like lighter fluid that she had to spit out. Not sure what that was about but everything else was good. The music and atmosphere made the evening casual and enjoyable. They accommodated the fact that she was in a wheelchair by seating us in a booth by the bar. They didn't have handicapped doors to help with going in and coming out of the restaurant unfortunately. Three employees stood at the hostess podium but not one of them offered to open the door upon arrival or departure. Little disheartening but I'd recommend dining there, for sure.
